Pictures remind us of where we’ve been and what we’ve done. From the dried-up, wilted cattails along the roadside to endless mountain tops, nature surrounds us in our journey through life.

I’m Ryan Graves and I started out taking pictures at our local Audubon Society through our photo club in Western New York. Since then, I have made it my own personal goal to get out and do some traveling while I shoot my pictures. Still being considered an amateur photographer, I’m in the midst of trying to develop my own style of photography. What I have developed so far is what I would like to call Simplest Things. I find when I’m out in the field that it’s usually the simplest things that attract my eye, whether it be a dried up flower, shadows casting across a path in late fall, or just a squirrel raiding a birdhouse. Through simple things and time, I hope to have shared my journey with others.
